This series contains photographs taken of and by John. C Wister throughout his life as well as ephemera he collected over the course of his service in World War I. A large portion of this series is made up of various scrapbook pages and a photo album that Wister put together during his time serving in World War I as well as after the war while he toured Europe and worked with various European Nurserymen. Also included in this series are several horticultural illustrations done by Wister in 1971 and a photo of his mother, Mary Eustis Wister, taken sometime in the 1890s. Series contents are arranged in alphabetical order.
