This series contains 6 daybooks and 4 diaries kept by John C. Wister before, during, and after his time spent fighting in World War I. The diary covering the time between March 1, 1918 and July 1, 1918 is not present in this collection and its location is unknown. Also included in this series is a transcript of the earliest diary that was typed in 1992 by an unknown transcriber.
