Arrangement Note
The records of the Student Affairs Division came to university archives in multiple accessions from the late 1990s to early 2000s. Upon accession, records pertaining to the individual office within Student Affairs were separated and some of the original order was lost. Rather than attempt to try to reimpose original order of the records, an attempt has been made to reunite the records pertaining to each office within the division with each other. The series structure reflects the structure of the Division of Student Affairs.
The collection is divided into five series. Administrative Services, University Life, Career and Employment Services, Community Development, Counseling and Health Services, and University Ministry and Service. The Administrative Services series has one subseries, Reports. The University Life series is further divided into three subseries: Subject files, Publications, and the Multicultural and International center. The Subject Files subseries consist of the files of Kathy Schrader, director of the Office of Student Life (now University Life). These were her alphabetical subject files and have been left as is. The Community Development Series has one subseries, Office of Resident Life. The Counseling and Health Services series is divided into two subseries, the Student Health Center and the Student Counseling Center.
