This collection documents the activities of the Urban Studies Center from its inception in 1967 to the late 1990s, when it was combined with the Public Affairs Office and the Center for Community Learning to create the Center for Community Learning and Outreach. Administrative files include correspondence, minutes of the meetings of the Board of Directors, and memos. Also included are annual reports and reports on individual initiatives undertaken by the Center, curriculum guides and other records related to the Center’s education programs, and event programs and planning documents related to the annual awards dinner. The collection also contains flyers, programs, and other ephemera associated with the public programming organized by the Center.
